Anderson Dairy Field Trip

Today Emily got to go on her first Field Trip with her Preschool. They went to the Anderson Dairy in Las Vegas. They learned how they make and package milk and ice cream. It is the milk used in the schools here at lunch, so she thought that was cool! Me, Brad, and Andy were able to go with her and we all had a fun time. At the end they served us all a sample of thier yummy ice cream.

Grandma Boberg 87th Birthday

Today Grandma Boberg turned 87!

She is living in an assisted living home and suffers from dimentia. When we asked her how old she thought she was she said 32 was too old, and laughed when we tolder her she was 87, she said
"well if thats how old I am, then I'm that old" Even though she doesnt know who we are or remember that we were there, it is always special for my kids to see her and get to know her.

MaKayla Senior Ball

MaKayla got asked to Senior Ball this year by Joe. It was a Mascarade Ball theme. Her grandma Hawker and I surprised her and bought her this dress that she really wanted! We were able to come up for the weekend so I could help her with her hair and makeup. I love being there with her!MaKayla is always beautiful, but this time I was just brethless at how stunning she lookes. She has grown up into such a beautiful, kind, loving, strong Young Woman, and I couldn't be prouder!

RAGNAR 2012

Before I got pregnant I had signed up for the RAGNAR in Las Vegas. I was determined to not miss out so I kept up on my running and did it! I ran just over a total of 13 miles during the 2 day race. I was very sore afterwards, but it was so worth it. I got to run with my Best Friend Danyelle, my Brother Jason, and Sister Diane. Also on our team was my counsins Ben and Chelsi, and some other friends. We laughed for 2 days straight and had an absolute blast! I cannot wait to do it again!!!!

Hoover Dam

Brad finally got another day off, so we decided to take the kids to Hoover Dam. Brad has always wanted to go take a tour in it, so we finally did. We got to go down way below the ground and see where all the water comes in and runs the energy through. It was so cool and we all loved it. Afterwards we drove across the new bridge.

1st Flight!

Because of Brad's new job, we are able to fly now :) I took the three little ones to Salt Lake City for my nephew Derek's wedding. The kids were so excited, it was their first time flying on an airplane! I was very nervous not knowing how they would behave or handle the trip, but they did awesome! They were so good and had so much fun!

Watching all the airplanes come and go, patiently waiting our turn!

Boarding the plane

Izzy sat in front of us and felt so grown up. She talked with the couple who sat next to her the whole time and was just so excited!

I sat next to Emily and Andy.
Andy could see the airplane wing out the window, but didn't realize it was our airplane so the whole time he kept saying "Is that airplane going with us Mom?"

Water Girl

MaKayla has been one of the Water Girls for the Dixie High School Football team for the past 3 years. It was a voluntary job and she would go to almost every JV and Varstiy game. She had so much fun doing it and made some great friends! This year they took the State Championship! I think its because their players were so properly hydrated ;) We are so proud of her for sticking with it and taking it seriously!
