Boating

Saturday we went boating with Steph's parents. We went to Sand Hallow Res. for the day. Suzie (Steph's sister) and her family went with us. We had such a good time!

We set up the awning and it seemed like every 10 min we would have to move everything back into the shade.

Emily spent her time (as usual) in the playpen where she was safe from the sand and dogs!

Craft Necklaces

We went to the craft store again. The girls made flower necklaces, they turned out so cute!

Camping

Brad needed a day of fishing so we decided at last min. to go camping over night. We left Saturday after Brad got home from school. We had lunch in Cedar and then drove up to Panguich Lake. My mom and step dad came with us. Keith took Brad down to the stream for some stream fishin. They did awesome, Brad brought back a fish that was 17 in. long! Of course we cooked it up and it was YUMMY!!

Me and my mom stayed at camp with Emily and Izzy. Emily took a long 3 hour nap and Izzy didnt stop running and playing. She found a cool rock that looked like a duck she called it her "Yellow Duckling".

There was an awesome river down the hill from our camp, when Brad got back her went down and he and Izzy got 2 more little fish, Izzy released them because they were too little.

We roasted hot dogs for dinner and fish, and had yummy smores.

My parents left after dinner, and me, Brad and the girls sat around the campfire for awhile then went to bed.

We left early in the morning trying to get home for church, but after packing up, driving down to Cedar, Izzy getting car sick, we decided to stop at Sizzzler and have lunch. Needless to say by the time we finally got home, there wasn't time.
It was an awesome time, only could have been better if MaKayla had been with us. She was up north with Brad's parents for her cousin Ellies Ballet recital.

Girls Day Out!!

Me, Jessica, MaKayla, Ali, Mandi, and Izzy all went out together for the day. Grandma Hawker watched Mily and Muel (Emily and Samuel) so we could go play. First we went to the craft shop and the girls made paperclip bracelets. Then we went to Taco Bell and had lunch. After that we went to the water park and Madi, Izzy, and Ali all played in the water. It was such a fun day to get out and have a good time together!

Fathers Day!

This Fathers day was so fun! Brad woke up to presents from the girls: A Dale Jr. Poster from Izzy, Dale Jr. Cooler from MaKayla, and a CELL PHONE from Emily :) Although he payed it down, I think he is really excited about the cell phone! MaKayla cooked waffels for breakfast, then we went to church. We went and visited Dad Hawker, went to dinner at Olive Garden with Dad Kroff, then visited Dad Bankhead. We came home and watched The Bucket List. It was a very busy and fun day.

Emily Eats!!

Emily is now eating rice. She is 4 months old and today we introduced her to rice. She is not too sure if she likes it, but is getting better at eating! She is growing so fast, I can hardly stand it!!

30 Mile Hike

Brad just completed a 30 mile hike up Pine Valley Mountain. He went with the scouts on a 3 day trip. They had to hike through, around, and over the snow! He made it to the top which is the highest point in Washington County. He is home now very sore and tired!

MEXICO

We went to Mexico this year for 10 days!! It was the longest we have ever gone for and it was so fun and relaxing! It was Emily's first vacation! She loved to sleep in the cool breeze. Brad went Clam fishing with the fisherman down the way and got us some HUGE clams, I never knew what they looked like, and actually wish I hadn't found out!
