Brad turned 31 on Sunday, for his birthday we went camping near Whitney Pockets in our new pop-up camper. We left Friday afternoon and came home Sunday afternoon. We had so much fun and it was so nice to relax with our kids!
This is our camp set up, we think it is pretty sweet! Our neerest neighbor was about 1 mile away! Total privacy! There were no bathrooms or showers so it was definately rough campin, but the kids and everyone did great and had a blast! We took MaK's 4-wheeler and it was driven by someone constantly! We spent time teaching Izzy how to drive it with the gas and steering, not alone of course, but she is doing great hopefully by the end of summer she will be able to ride alone!
There were some cool places to go hiking, so each morning we got geared up and hiked. I was worried it would be too far for Holly so we put her in a special spot in Emily's pack that Brad carries! She is so cute! (this picture is for Tonya!)

Later Saturday afternoon Brad' s parents came and brought Ali and we went to this little ghost town Gold Butte, it was a tent city mining town back in the early 1900's.

There was a grave yard with 2 tomb stones in it.
We weren't quite sure what this was, we think maybe a roof because it has a little chimney, maybe to a mine underneeth or an old house????
There were granite rocks covering the mountain, This one looks like a ball placed on top.
Emily had fun wearing maks' hat, see I was actually there, this is the only picture of me the whole trip!
Brad and his dad found this old truck, they think it was rom about 1930 a lot of it was still made out of wood back then.
Sunday we hiked out to the red mountains from our camp this is when we got there, our camp is out there in the dirt tiny tiny!

Sunday we had cake and ice cream at his parents, and had presents, Cynthia cooked awesome dinner and steaks! YUM!Look at all those candles!

you are much braver than me.. camping in the dirt with no bathroom... YIKES!!
